July’s 2022 Full Moon: How the Capricorn Super "Buck" Full Moon will Affect You and What to do About it through Ritual.
When is July’s 2022 full moon?
Wednesday, July 13, @ 2:38pm EST But you have up until Thursday, July, 14th @ 4:14am to work with it.
The Full Moon in Capricorn wants you to do the Spiritual work it takes to release limiting beliefs and outdated narratives that threaten the success of your long-term plans.
While the nature of this energy might make you feel heavy and uncomfortable, don't worry, I gotchu.
First I'll tell you how this Full Moon will affect you, then I'll give you tangible steps to work with it intentionally.
Let’s get into WHY ... 🌙🪄
Reason # 1: It's a Full Moon, and Full Moons are the Peak in the Lunar Cycle.
The Moon is considered a planet in Astrology that represents our emotions, intuition, and subconscious mind. Although uncomfortable feelings may rise to the surface, Full Moons are the best astrological time to acknowledge, release, and clear emotional blocks.
What makes this Full Moon extra special is that it's a Supermoon, which means MaMa Moon is at her closest point to planet Earth making her appear larger and brighter. As a result, we will feel her emotional frequency more intensely than on a regular Full Moon.
It's important to know that Full Moons are Oppositions between the Sun in one sign and the Moon in the other. During this Lunation, the Moon is in the earthy, logical sign of Capricorn, facing off against the watery, emotional sign of Cancer.
These two signs are known as the Axis of Security. Capricorn wants Material Security–knowing that financially, things will be okay. And Cancer, his polar opposite, wants Emotional Security--feeling that everything will be okay.
And so the monthly cosmic see-saw dance begins. This time knowing versus feeling.
Reason #2. It's a Capricorn Full Moon--Each month a Full Moon occurs in a different Zodiac Sign.
Aligning your Full Moon Ritual with the thematic meaning of Capricorn will supercharge the potency of your Intention. It's a form of Magic.
Capricorn is connected to the 10th House of Career, Recognition, and Life Direction in the Birth Chart. His mission is to set your future self up for success with a long-term, practical and sustainable plan.
At the highest expression, Capricorn is driven by professional ambition, achievement, and success. On the Shadow side, Capricorn is paralyzed by the fear and anxiety of not being successful enough in the future.
So, now is the time to murder your energetic blocks. That was a bit much. Sorry, not sorry. NOW is the time to question the source and validity of the limiting beliefs you subscribe to that keep you playing small.
Speaking of limiting beliefs, I'm definitely maybe having a meta moment as I'm forced to take my own advice.
As an astrologer and a Capricorn Sun, my goal is to become internationally recognized for my Readings, YouTube Channel, and Blog. Part of the plan is to publish articles like this every lunation to guide those who want to manifest and heal. Yet I find myself backspacing each perfectly-fine-as-is sentence because I fear my writing isn't good enough. Never mind the fact that one of my degrees is in print Journalism from NYU and that I'm way more than qualified.
Can you relate? I thought so. This is the resonance of Capricorn's shadow, self-doubt. To further intensify matters, Pluto, the planet of rebirth, personal power, and transformation, is hanging out with the Moon in Capricorn. Pluto wants you to release the feelings, circumstances, and relationships that no longer serve you. Not going to lie; it's uncomfortable AF.
Together, Saturn and Pluto are illuminating the subconscious fears that arise surrounding your ability or perceived inability to sustain a secure, long-term plan for the future.
I know it's not easy, but doing the shadow work works! It gets heavier...
Reason # 3: It's a Capricorn Full Moon Ruled by the Planet Saturn.
To deepen your healing process on this Super Full Moon, you need to understand the Vibe of Capricorn's Ruling planet, Saturn.
Every Zodiac sign is Ruled by a Planet which influences its behavior and expression. When interpreting a Birth Chart, I tell my clients to think of Planets as the Parents of each Sign. They share cosmic DNA just like you do with your parents. While you are not an exact replica of your birth mother or father, you probably look like them, maybe even sound like them, and have similar mannerisms and beliefs.
Saturn is motivated by the process of setting long-term goals and putting in sustained effort until they are achieved. But with all this uncertainty in our post-pandemic world, sticking to plans can feel daunting and emotionally overwhelming.
I get it. Saturn doesn't though. Lol. No lol.
Saturn rules authority and authority figures in addition to structure, strategy, and accountability.
In my head, Saturn is like that anxiety-inducing quarterly performance review with your micro-managing Supervisor named, Bradford. Or should I say, Mr. Bradford.
First of all, it sucks that his name is Bradford in 2022--probably why he's such an over-achieving kill joy. Second, He'll never let you call him Brad. In fact, it's Mr. Bradford to you. Just do it behind his back.
Third, he always smells like broccoli because he's responsible and shit. Between us, he's kind of a douche. That stays here. Snitch on me to Brad, I mean–snitch on me to Mr. Brad, and you'll regret it. Actually, I'll be the one to regret it.
The Ancients only F* with the 7 visible traditional planets that can be seen with the Naked Eye, beginning with the Moon and ending with Saturn.
It's all about celestial distance. This is why, in the Birth Chart, Saturn represents the limits and boundaries we cannot move past. That rock-hard impenetrable wall we hit. But what if I told you, that wall was an illusion?
That's what fear is, an illusion. You creating a narrative about a problem that COULD happen in the future. Keyword-- C-O-U-L-D.
It doesn't exist unless you create it with your mind. It's a possibility but not yet a reality.
Tracking and interpreting the movements of the planets in the sky pre-telescope invention, (thanks to an old white dude in1609 named Galileo), was the way our collective ancestors made informed decisions about what to expect down here on Earth as wittle ole humans and how to move forward.
So join in with me now, let me hear you chant … "F* Limiting Beliefs. F* Limiting Beliefs! I can't hear you, and like, I really want to hear you. Okay, you can stop now. Good job. I'm proud of you. If you've made it this far, Congrats.
